Who We Are

The Hip Replacements are a group of retired friends who get along great and still love playing rock & roll — for friends, neighbors, and local crowds of up to about 200.

We started jamming together in 2023. The name is a wink, not a medical claim: orthopedically correct rock, delivered with humor and zero stadium ego.

The lineup

• Rick L – bass, harmonica and vocals
• Jim M – drums – the heartbeat that holds it together
• John H – lead guitar and vocals
• Jim N – guitar and vocals
• Steve K – piano and keys

Rick F is our intrepid manager/roadie/sound engineer. And Brian B is often nearby with a camera, catching us in our best light.
